Today, the commission is aware nearly €720 million to seven renewable hydrogen projects in Europe.
Through the first competitive bidding process under the European Hydrogen Bank.
Winning bidders will produce renewable hydrogen in Europe and received subsidy to bridge the price difference between their product cost .
The winner bidders plan to produced 1.58 million tones of renewables hydrogen over ten year ,avoiding more than 10 million tones of CO2 emission.
Seven selected project will receive subsidy in range from €8 million to €245 million .
