Milestone Order Boosts Solar Capacity in Gujarat

Mumbai, [8\03\24] - KPI Green Energy Limited, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has clinched a significant order for a total capacity of 305MWac. Aditya Birla Renewables Subsidiary Limited has awarded 175MWac, while ABREL (RJ) Projects Limited grants 130MWac.

This order is designated for the development of the Balance of System for a 305MWac solar capacity, integral to a wind-solar hybrid power project situated in the state of Gujarat. The project is set to be integrated into the Inter State Transmission System (ISTS) network of the Central Transmission Utility (CTU).

Key Project Details:

  1. Scope of Services: KPI Green Energy Limited will spearhead the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) services. This encompasses comprehensive responsibilities, including design, engineering, procurement, supply chain management, transportation, construction, erection, testing, and synchronization for the Balance of System for the solar project.

  2. Project Timeline: The slated completion of the project is within the financial year 2025-26, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions on schedule.


Market Performance: Shares of K.P.I. Green Energy Ltd witnessed positive traction in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), closing at Rs. 1725.85. The stock experienced robust trading activity, with a total of 72,431 shares changing hands in over 7,271 trades. During the trading session, the stock achieved an intraday high of Rs. 1754.85 and an intraday low of Rs. 1679.10. The day's net turnover amounted to Rs. 124,818,259.00.
