NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance (NETRA), the research and development arm of NTPC, has achieved a significant breakthrough by successfully demonstrating hydrogen cooking using hydrogen supplied from its existing Green Hydrogen plant in Greater Noida. The demonstration showcased the practicality and environmental benefits of hydrogen in everyday cooking applications.

The demonstration utilized hydrogen burners designed specifically for cooking purposes, incorporating them into modified cookstoves to prepare food. It's noteworthy that the emissions from hydrogen burners are solely water vapor, contributing to zero carbonaceous elements.
