OPTEL Group has taken a significant step toward enhancing global supply chains' sustainability by becoming a part of the International Research Consortium on Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Transition (CIRAIG). This strategic affiliation, initiated on April 27, 2023, underscores OPTEL's strong commitment to environmental and social sustainability within the consortium's framework.

Comprised of four universities and ten leading companies spanning the globe, CIRAIG emerges as a formidable global entity dedicated to advancing the cause of a net-zero economy. With multinational members hailing from three continents, this alliance leverages expertise across diverse industries, amplifying its potential to drive meaningful change.
Diverse Participation
The launch event of CIRAIG attracted a distinguished audience, featuring prominent universities, corporations, and researchers from Québec, France, Switzerland, and Morocco. Among the educational institutions contributing their scholarly insights to the consortium's mission are Polytechnique Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and the Haute École Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale (HES-SO).
